Description
BRT VIG Analog current voltage signal generator simulator outputs adjustable 4-20mA or 0-20mA current source signal or 0-10V voltage signal. The current or voltage signal is displayed in LED screen synchronously and precisely. Its output signal is adjusted through encoders’ knob. It is a simple low cost replacement signal generator tools instead of other brands expensive signal calibrator. It helps user save lots of cost to research how to build a 4-20mA signal source or draw 4-20mA simulator circuit diagram to design it.
Its supports 18-30V wide range power supply and provides 5VDC power supply output.

Signal Generator Functions
Output Signal Adjustment & Calibration
A. Adjusting output signal
Press down the encoders’ knob, when the digit is flashing, user can adjust the output value accordingly. Current signal output adjusting step is 0.01/0.1/1/10mA, voltage signal output adjusting step is 0.005/0.01/0.1/1V. After 5 seconds, the flashing digit returns back to normal, no action required.
B. Signal output calibration
Example: Calibrate 0.5mA output point precision
(1) Rotate the current voltage signal generators’ knob to make its LED display 0.50, then use precision multimeter to measure the actual output value at 0.50mA output point.
(2) Write down the actual current output value (e.g.: 0.49mA) measured by precision multimeter when 0.50 is displayed in the signal generator.
(3) Long press down the current signal adjusting knob for more that 5 Seconds, till the all the digits are quick flashing once, then rotate the current signal adjusting knob to make the signal generator LED displays the actual current value: 0.49, after that long press down the current signal adjusting knob for more than 5 seconds to exit and save parameters.
